January 17-19 and January 24-26: Mural Project (6 x 2-hour sessions)
Teaching artist: Arturo Ho + 1-2 high school student assistants
10-15 middle school participants in mural residency
Friday, February 3, 6pm: Mural Unveiling Ceremony and Open House
February 7-April 6: Visual Arts & Design (27 x 2-hour sessions)
Projects include: Photoshop, Découpage, bookmaking/journals, etc.
Teaching artist: Alessandra Mantovani
April 11-13 (Spring Break): Fused glass residency (3 x 2-hour sessions)
Teaching artists: Nina Koltnow & Cindy Reuben (Wheaton residents)
8 students + teaching assistant from MHP
Friday, April 14, 6pm: Art Exhibit and Reception
April 18-June 1: Salsa dancing lessons (21 x 2-hour sessions)
Teaching artist c/o Ricardo Loaiza “Baila4Life”

with Young Playwrights Theater

Friday, June 16, 7pm: Student Performance (location TBD)
NOTE: Artists will work with high school student assistants in exchange for Student Service Learning (SSL) hours towards their graduation requirement. We welcome the opportunity to engage some of the high school students in residence at Pembridge-Amherst – particularly those with an interest in the arts.
